Place hidden among the historic streets of Cuneo. The environment is very welcoming and they have a beautiful decor which is a fairytale when the weather is nice. The ladies who run the place are very affable and there is an air of considerable friendship. We were the only couple who couldn't call us by name because it was our first time going. Everyone else knew each other so it's a sign of a place you'd love to return to. The food was nothing short of delicious, we started with a truly ear-licking mix of homemade appetizers. As a first course, casatielli with wild boar ragù. If we wanted to find a flaw, perhaps the pasta was a little overcooked but that's a subjective thing... still very good. For dessert I had the zabaglione... I would have ordered two more of that... fantastic. The price was right for what we ate...and we certainly didn't wake up hungry. I forgot... dinner was accompanied by two generous glasses of wine... we will definitely be back...

The Locanda is located in a street of the old city that is not difficult to find even if a little off the pedestrian street. The environment is warm and convivial, the owner puts guests at ease with a courteous and informal service. You can choose from the menu or a couple of tasting menus in addition to the fixed menu on weekdays. We opted for the one consisting of an appetizer, first course and dessert.The quality of the dishes consumed turned out to be truly excellent but I must reserve a mention for the tongue with green sauce and the tagliolini with artichokes and prawns. The bill was correct, furthermore the owner kindly didn't charge us for the water and the cover charge. Truly a pleasant experience.

Staying in a B&B opposite the inn, I had dinner here for convenience and the choice was right.Real trattoria, with trattoria dishes!Everything was delicious, fast service despite the place being full.The owner was very nice and kind.I will definitely return if I'm in the area again.

Restaurant serving typical Piedmontese dishes. We took advantage of the tasting menu and were able to enjoy many dishes at a truly advantageous price. Generous portions, quick and friendly service! Definitely a must try if you are in the area!!

Monday evening 12th August around eighty euros for an excellent evening with a tasting menu with fennel cones complete with everything.Divine Fassona tartar, space-age lamb chops, delicious stuffed fish, sparkling wine with half a bottle given as a gift, salami on arrival as a greeting (a very precious and unexpected treat), some veal with tuna sauce donated just for a taste just because we were foreigners and had to try it. What more can I say?I attach the photos and the reviews speak for themselves, an excellent place recommended for anyone passing through Cuneo.Free parking in the chalk river area nearby.Historic center 5 min walk away.They also accept dogs therefore Thank you for this good dinner.
